Leigh Robinson is President of the Rotary Club of Wollongong where he is closely involved in community activities, in particular those concerning young people. Leigh is also a Director of the Access Community Group Limited, www.acg.com.au, which is a community based organisation that supports those in our community who are less fortunate than we may be .
As the President of Wollongong Rotary, Leigh is leading the community agitation campaign to prevent the removal of the Emergency Aeroretrieval Service from being moved from its current base at the Illawarra Regional Airport to Sydney.
Leigh is also a co-founder and Logistics Manager of the Illawarra based ,Twilight Tournaments program, www.twilighttournaments.net.au, which conducts indoor sporting events on Saturday nights to keep young people off the streets. In this program up to 60 teenagers play various sports and are provided with a wholesome meal and a life skills workshop each Saturday night.
Leigh was a Wollongong Citizen of the Year nominee for 2012.
Roger Taufel is Chairman of the Jonathan Foundation, www.jonathanfoundation.org, and is the Vice Chair of the Gold Coast Employment Support Service, www.gcess.org, where we find employment for those who have a disability. Roger is also on the Board of Lords Taverners, www.lordstavernersaustralia.com and manages the Brisbane South West Chamber of Commerce.
Pamela Murray-Jones is a volunteer mentor with the Lucy Mentoring Program which supports emerging young women leaders in universities across Australia and with iTEC (Wollongong) under their small business incubation program.
